Being an entrepreneur? It’s a wild ride. Imagine strapping yourself onto a rollercoaster designed by a caffeinated squirrel, constantly building the track as you go. That's the closest analogy I can offer. It's exhilarating, terrifying, and utterly addictive. And launching E20 Training has been the most intense, rewarding, and eye-opening adventure of my life - and this is just the beginning!
E20 Training wasn't born from a focus group or a market analysis. It sprung from a genuine passion for helping people unlock their athletic potential. It was about creating a community, fostering a culture of growth, and providing the tools for individuals to achieve their fitness goals. But turning that vision into reality? That's where the real work began.
There were late nights fueled by coffee and sheer determination, countless hours spent fine-tuning training programs, building a website, and navigating the labyrinth of marketing. There were setbacks, moments of doubt, and the constant hum of "what if?" But there was also an unwavering belief in the value of what we were creating.
Entrepreneurship is a masterclass in emotional agility. One day, you're celebrating a small victory, a new member signing up, or a positive review. The next, you're facing a technical glitch, a marketing campaign that fell flat, or the crushing weight of self-doubt.
I've learned to embrace the highs, to savor the moments of triumph, and to use them as fuel for the inevitable lows. I've learned that setbacks are not failures; they're opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow. I've learned to celebrate the small wins, to find joy in the process, and to appreciate the journey.
Building E20 Training has been a testament to the power of community. The support from early adopters, the feedback from clients, and the collaboration with fellow health and wellness professionals have been invaluable. I've learned that building a brand is not a solo endeavor; it's a collective effort.
Seeing our guests and members achieve their goals, witnessing their transformations, and receiving messages of gratitude – these are the moments that make all the late nights and challenges worthwhile. It's a reminder that E20 Training is not just a business; it's a platform for positive change.
Okay let's face it, I still have a ton of lessons to learn but of course, in true Eloiza fashion, here are a few things I've experienced so far.
Passion is Non-Negotiable: If you're not passionate about what you're building, the challenges will quickly overwhelm you.
Adaptability is Key: The entrepreneurial landscape is constantly changing. Be prepared to pivot, adapt, and learn new skills.
Resilience is Essential: You will face setbacks. Learn to bounce back stronger.
Community Matters: Build a strong network of support.
Celebrate the Small Wins: Acknowledge and appreciate your progress.
Never Stop Learning: Stay curious, seek knowledge, and embrace continuous improvement.
Trust Your Gut: Sometimes, your intuition is your best guide.
Launching E20 has been a rollercoaster, but it's a ride I wouldn't trade for anything. It's a journey of self-discovery, a testament to the power of passion and perseverance, and a reminder that anything is possible when you're willing to take the leap. If you have a dream, pursue it with unwavering determination. The rollercoaster might be wild, but the view from the top is worth it.
Warmly,
Eloiza
